Vrinda Karat slams AAP and Jharkhand politicians

Ranchi: Communist Party of India (M) Politburo member Vrinda Karat has said that Jharkhand has become a den for corrupt politicians in the last 13 years.

She said all the governments formed in the state till date miserably failed to look beyond their own sphere of interest. She said the politics of the state smacked of high levels of corruption.

She said none of the parties including the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress seemed to be concerned a bit about the well-being and welfare of the farmers and the people of the state.

She was speaking at the party office in the state Capital. She was accompanied by several other party leaders of the state.

Earlier, the names of Rajendra Singh Munda and Jatin Soren were announced from Ranchi and Rajmahal Lok Sabha seats by the party leaders.

Karat said the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was speaking the language characteristic of the former Delhi CM Sheila Dixit.

She further criticized the West Bengal government for failing to do justice in the case of gangrape of a girl from Bihar.
