Voters’ awareness is strength of democracy: Jamshedpur DC Vijaya Jadhav

Jamshedpur, May 28: District Election Officer (Panchayat) cum Deputy Commissioner, Vijaya Jadhav expressed gratitude to the officers, Magistrates, personnel and voters for the successful completion of polling in the three-tier Panchayat (Common) Election-2022.

“Voters’ Awareness is the strength of democracy. The voters of East Singhbhum district have, with their enthusiastic participation, ensured the success of the voting exercise for the three tier Panchayat election thereby underlining the term, ‘voting is the festival of democracy.’” 

Polling for all the four phases in the district had been completed peacefully. No untoward incident was reported during the elections. The voters exercised their franchise freely and responsibly. The district and police administrations had taken all measures to ensure free and fair polls at all polling booths in the district.

The Deputy Commissioner, Vijaya Jadhav also thanked Magistrates, police officers, police and para military forces, polling personnel and all other officials and personnel engaged in the election work for their assiduous and dedicated services. She also thanked the print and electronic media for the successful conduct and completion of the Panchayat election.

 The District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner expressed her thanks to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Superintendents of Police (City and Rural), Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional District Magistrate, Law and Order, Additional Deputy Commissioner, District Supply Officer, District Transport Officer, NEP. Director, Sub-Divisional Officer of both sub-divisions, District Panchayati Raj Officer, District Public Relations Officer, BDO and CO, Executive Magistrate and all other officials and personnel for their tireless and round-the-clock efforts that saw to the successful and peaceful completion of the Panchayat elections. DC Vijaya Jadhav acknowledged the contributions of teachers and employees of departments engaged in polling work. “Simultaneously, I congratulate all the contesting candidates, and hope that all the winning candidates will discharge their responsibilities and duties for the betterment of society. Appropriate support will also be provided to them by the district administration,” she stated.
