Vote counting preparations underway at Jamshedpur Co-operative College

Jamshedpur, May 28: As the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for June 4, 2024, draw near, both the administration and political parties have initiated preparations for the crucial vote counting process. On Monday, the BJP and JMM district units made a formal application for permission to establish a tent outside the strong room at Co-operative College. Anjan Sarkar of the Mahanagar BJP and Raj Lakra from the JMM District Committee jointly submitted a letter to the Deputy Election Officer, expressing their intent. They anticipate receiving authorization from the district administration to set up tents on Tuesday. However, as of now, none of the other 23 candidates have requested permission to install a tent for the counting process.
