Jamshedpur, Nov. 2: Volleyball Smasher, an inter school volleyball tournament �(Boys) and Inter Team �Volleyball tournament (Men & Women), organized by Tata�Motors�Sports Department at Volleyball Court neat Telco Gymnasium kicked off on Monday.
The Tournament was inaugurated by Col. K.J.K Choudhary, Head � Town Administration. Eleven teams �from Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Little Flower School, Gulmohar, Hilltop, Vivek Vidyalaya, Shiksha Niketan School, Vig English School, Valley View School, Gopabandhu Vidyapith, Vidyasagar Vidyalaya & Guru Govind Singh High school are participating in the tournament which is being held on knock out basis.

On the first day of the tournament in school category, first match was played between Guru Govind Singh High School and Hill Top School. Guru Govind Singh High boys gave a tough fight but finally Hill Top School emerged victorious in two is to one set 25-22, 22 -25 & 12-15.
Second match was played between Shiksha Niketan School and Vidya Sagar Vidyalaya . Shiksha Niketan boys dominated the field all through and won the match in two straight sets 25-10 & 25-15.
Third match of the day was played between Gulmohur High School and�Valley View School . Gulmohur High School emerged victorious in�two straight sets 25-17 & 25-21 in best of three sets.
The Fourth match of was played between Vig English School and Gopabandhu Vidyapith. Vig English boys dominated the field all through and won the match in two straight sets 25-05 & 25-19.
