Jamshedpur: Vivekananda International School, Mango, celebrated its outstanding performance in the ICSE Board Examination after recording a remarkable 100 percent pass result. To mark the achievement, the school organized a felicitation ceremony at its auditorium where meritorious students were honoured for their academic excellence.
Jamshedpur City Superintendent of Police (SP) Lalit Meena attended the programme as the chief guest and felicitated the top three rank holders with certificates and mementos. Azadnagar Police Station In-charge Chandan Kumar and Azadnagar Peace Committee Secretary Mukhtar Alam Khan were present as distinguished guests.

Addressing the students, City SP Lalit Meena emphasized the importance of setting goals, working consistently with dedication, and maintaining discipline in life. He also encouraged students to participate in creative and positive activities along with academics, stating that such involvement helped build confidence and contribute to personality development.
School Principal Dr. Nidhi Srivastava, in her welcome speech, highlighted the institution’s excellent academic record and informed that the school’s first batch of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics students also performed exceptionally well in the examination. She noted that most students secured first division marks, while several students achieved scores above 85 percent.

The programme also focused on social awareness, with guests advising students to stay away from drug abuse, mobile addiction, and other harmful habits while leading disciplined and responsible lives.
Among the top performers, Nitish Kumar secured first position with 95 percent marks, followed by Ayesha Tajalli with 94 percent and Md. Imdad Hussain with 91 percent. Nitish Kumar received special recognition for scoring 99 percent in Artificial Intelligence, which was described as the second-highest score in the city in the subject.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by teacher Shahnawaz Khan in the presence of teachers, students, parents, and local dignitaries.
