Vishal Bahadur secures Silver, Vishakha and Vidhi earn Bronze in Under 23 Athletics Championship

Ranchi, Oct 22: The second day of the National Open Under 23 Athletics Championship, taking place at the Sports Complex in Chandigarh from October 20 to 22, witnessed remarkable performances by Jharkhand athletes. Vishal Bahadur, representing Ranchi SAI, clinched the silver medal with an outstanding triple jump of 15.70 meters. Furthermore, Vishakha Singh from SAI Ranchi secured the bronze medal in the 100 meters event, achieving an impressive time of 11.98 seconds. Vidhi Rawal from East Singhbhum also earned a bronze medal, with a time of 54.71 seconds.
In addition to these victories, Pratibha Kumari secured the fifth position in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 14.31 seconds, while Aansoo Kumar Singh finished seventh in the same event with a time of 10.77 seconds.
The President of the Jharkhand Athletics Association, Dr. Madhukant Pathak, along with other officials, including Secretary CD Singh, SK Pandey, Dr. Prabhat Shankar, Binod Kumar Singh, Alok Mishra, Ashish Jha, Sukhair Bhagat, Rakesh Singh, Barun Kumar, Kiran Rani Sahu, Sanjay Tripathi, and numerous other association members, congratulated the accomplished athletes on their achievements.
