BJP questions liquor monopoly contract blessings for Yogendra

Ranchi, Oct 22: In response to a press conference held by Supriyo Bhattacharya regarding the case of liquor businessman Yogendra Tiwari, BJP state spokesperson Pratul Shahdev has issued a response. He likened the JMM’s press conference to an old tape recorder with a jammed cassette, repeatedly playing the same sound.

Pratul Shahdev emphasized the BJP’s consistent call for the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the Yogendra Tiwari case. He stressed the necessity of scrutinizing how Yogendra Tiwari secured a monopoly on liquor sales across the entire state, seemingly with the blessings of a prominent leader from the ruling party.

However, the government’s silence on this matter has raised questions about influential figures who might be involved in protecting Yogendra Tiwari.
Pratul Shahdev also noted that senior BJP leaders have already clarified their lack of involvement with Yogendra Tiwari’s company for many years. Nevertheless, questions persist about a powerful figure within the current system who appears to be promoting Yogendra Tiwari while disregarding established rules and regulations.

Pratul Shahdev called for the immediate formation of an independent SIT to ensure an impartial investigation, with the goal of uncovering the truth behind the matter.
