Villagers oppose CRPF camp

Jamshedpur: Villagers of Musaboni Bara Pahar opposed the survey being conducted to set up CRPF camp stating no camp could be established on Rayati land.

Former JMM legislator Ramdas Soren met the deputy commissioner on the issue. Soren apprised the DC that the local residents had become fearful of eviction.

Acting on the complaint the DC asked the SDP Prem Rajan to conduct investigation on three points whether the land has been acquired or not, whether Union and State Government had acquired the land in the past and how many families are residing on the land.
