Jamshedpur, Oct 14: A delegation of vegetable vendors of Kharangajhar met the state land and revenue minister Amar Kumar Bauri on Monday. They handed over a memorandum to the minister with the demand for allotment of land for Haat Bazar (weekly market). District BJP spokesperson Ankit Anand led the vendors who were gathered under the banner of Kharangajhar Sabzi Vikreta Sangh.
The vendors demanded that the state government should allot them land for carrying on their business on a regular basis. The minister assured to fulfil the demands. He directed the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Ravi Shankar Shukla to take necessary measures in this regard.
