Jamshedpur: Police�today detained a retired Army jawan, Gopal Kumar after his wife Mamta Kumari was found hanging at her house in Block No 5 of Shastrinagar under Kadma thana area last evening.�
Mamta Kumari (32) was pregnant and was being allegedly exploited by her husband for Rs 10 lakh as dowry since the past few months.� The police said they are yet to get a formal FIR in connection to the death of the woman.
