Jamshedpur: A two way dialogue programme Vartalap was organized at Tulsi Bhavan, Bistupur, on Tuesday under the aegis of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.
Addressing local journalists, MP of Jamshedpur Vidyut Varan Mahato said the newspaper information office of the Ministry at Ranchi worked as a bridge between the government and the media.
He said the media persons should throw light on various government schemes such as Sukanya Yojana, Skill Development Scheme, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and other schemes for the benefit of the people.
The assistant director of the newspaper information office SMN Rizvi said the media should strengthen the government�s plans by disseminating vital information among the people. A vote of thanks was proposed by the DPRO of East Singhbhum Sanjay Kumar. The programme was conducted by Anjani Kumar Mishra.
