Jamshedpur: Unidentified thieves took away cash and valuables worth Rs 1.5 lakh from the house of a Baridih resident, Sanjay Singh, under Sidhgora police station area last night. The house owner came to know about the theft early morning when he returned home from a ceremony. A cable operator by profession, Singh said the thieves entered his house from the back portion. The thieves carried the safe outside the house and stole Rs 47,000, gold chain and other ornaments, he told police.
