Jamshedpur: Utkaliya Brahman Samaj is going to felicitate five members of Utkal Brahman community with the title of �Brahman Ratna� for their contribution in the fields of education, social service, art and culture, spirituality, health and environment.
This was announced on Friday by the outfit members. A meeting of the outfit�s central committee was held at Kali Mandir premises in Adityapur Busti.
It was presided over by the outfit president Bhuvaneshwar Satpathy. It was unanimously decided to celebrate the 8th annual function of the organization at Ramtaran Ashram in Dugni in a grand manner on 28th May. Thousands of members of the community are expected to participate in the event.
Today�s meeting was also attended by Arun Acharya, Bhimsen Kar, Kartik Mishra, Satyavrat Tripathy, Girish Pati, Dilip Mishra, Anil Mishra, Banchha Mishra, Toofan Sarangi, Rajesh Tripathy, Tulsi Sarangi and Manoj Satpathy.
