Use Swachhata App to lodge complaint: DC Amit Kumar

Jamshedpur: Steel city residents no longer need to go anywhere to lodge a complaint regarding lack of cleanliness in their neighbourhood. East Singhbhum district administration has decided to take help of Swachhata App to make sure the people are able to register their complaints without hassles.

The deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar held a meeting with the officials of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, Mango Notified Area Committee and Jusco on Friday and issued instructions in this regard. He said the citizens should be informed about the Swachhata App and should be motivated to download it. He said the app should be widely publicised.

The DC said that camps should be held in every panchayat to ensure downloading of the app. He said small camps should be held in JNAC areas for downloading of the app. He asked the JNAC and MNAC officials to include public toilets in the Swachhata App.

Public toilets should be coloured yellow and blue. He said strict action would be taken against people demanding bribe from PMAY beneficiaries.

DC orders repair of Mango bridge

Jamshedpur: The deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar directed the officials concerned to repair the Mango bridge as soon as possible. He said there should be adequate supply of water and electricity in public toilets. The toilets of Mango bus stand, Sakchi bus stand and the Tatanagar railway station should be kept clean. The toilets should be cleaned six times a day, said the DC.
Kumar said that dustbins should be kept at all public places to keep the city clean. He said fines should be imposed on those spreading garbage.

DC orders one-time daily parking fee

Jamshedpur: The deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar on Friday said that parking fee should be imposed only once a day from vehicles parked in different parts of the city. He said a monthly pass facility would soon be provided to the citizens. The JNAC would fix the rate for monthly parking pass. He said all schemes planned for the year 2017 should be completed in time.
