Ranchi: In a significant directive, Governor CP Radhakrishnan, who also serves as the Chancellor, has issued orders for all government universities in Jharkhand to synchronize their academic and examination calendars, ensuring uniformity. The Governor emphasized adherence to the unified calendar across all universities in the state.
Raj Bhavan, on behalf of the Governor, dispatched letters to the Vice-Chancellors and In-charge Vice-Chancellors of the universities, instructing them to formulate the academic, examination, and holiday calendars for the academic session 2024.
The deadline for submission is set for December 15, enabling a timely review and subsequent implementation across the state.
This initiative aims to streamline the academic sessions, ensuring consistency and coherence in the functioning of Jharkhand’s universities. The directive represents a step toward standardizing university schedules, marking a departure from previous variations in the commencement of academic sessions. The uniformity is expected to bring about greater efficiency and synchronization in the academic and examination processes.
