Unconscious lady found in Tata-Barbil passenger train train, condition still critical

Jamshedpur, Jan 06: A lady found in an unconscious state two days earlier in a compartment of Tata-Barbil passenger train remains to be critical at Noamundi Tata Steel Hospital where she is being treated. She has been kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Hospital. A suction pump has been put in place to draw out phlegm from her lungs.

Noamundi PS Inspector Laxman Prasad and Dongowapusi police visited the hospital to check the patient�s condition and made enquiries from the medical staff of the Hospital. The staff said that the lady is still in coma.

The police were informed that a small bag containing some tablets was found from her possession. The tablets, the medical staff stated is prescribed to psychiatric patients. The Hospital is waiting for a full report based on which it would be decided if the lady�s treatment would be possible in the Hospital or whether she would have to be referred to some other hospital for better treatment. It is likely that the lady had boarded the train at Tatanagar. At the time of going to press the condition of the woman continues to be grave.
