Jamshedpur, Jan 28: Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) organized a one day conference with Adivasi entrepreneurs at MTC Narwa Pahar under its Adivasi Vendor Development programme. The programme was organized on the initiative of SC ST Hub, MSME Ministry, Government of India. The representatives of Tribal Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TICCI) were also present on this occasion.
Addressing the gathering, UCIL Additional General Manager Ravindra Kumar said the MSME Ministry’s Public Procurement Policy was keen to promote SC-ST entrepreneurs but the prospective beneficiaries are still not able to utilize the opportunity fully. He said the purpose of the conference was to link SC-ST entrepreneurs to UCIL.
Other dignitaries of the programme included TICCI state president Baidyanath Mardi and national general secretary Basant Tirkey.
