UCIL donates two AC ambulance to Jadugora Hospital

Jadugora: Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) donated two air-condition-equipped ambulances to UCIL Hospital at Jadugora on Saturday. The ambulances are worth Rs 16 lakh. This was informed today by the chief medical officer of UCIL Hospital Dr UK Manjhi.

Sources said the AC-fitted ambulances were given to the hospital authorities following the initiative of UCIL CMD Dr CK Asnani and financial director of the company Devashish Ghosh.

�The ambulances were given as a part of the company�s welfare activities for the people of Jadugora. Very soon the hospital will get 27 air coolers for which orders have been placed.

The company is doing everything possible to increase facilities for the patients. The coolers will be installed at various places in the hospital soon after they are supplied to us so that patients get relief in the summer season,� said Dr Manjhi.

The CMO further said that the hospital would soon get the services of four new doctors. The process of recruitment is on, he said.
