Jamshedpur, June 6: On Thursday morning, Home Guard jawans apprehended two bike thieves from the parking lot outside MGM Hospital, a prominent government healthcare facility in Kolhan. The arrested, identified as Durga Mahato and Pradeep Mahato, were from Adityapur. Home guard Naveen Kumar Singh said that incidents of bike theft had been recurring at MGM Hospital, with two thefts reported just this month. Acting on suspicion, the jawans intercepted the thieves in the act of stealing a bike and promptly apprehended them with the aid of CCTV footage. It was confirmed that these were the same perpetrators involved in the previous thefts at the hospital’s parking area. The suspects have been handed over to Sakchi police, and the owner of the stolen bike, Mohammad Firoz, was present at the scene.
