Seraikela, May 11: On Thursday morning, two 18-year-old youths were seriously injured in a road accident near Ramnagar School on Seraikela Kaliyadungri road. The accident occurred when Ravindra Mahato, a resident of Narayanpur village, and his friend were returning on a bike after taking a bath in a pond. Meanwhile, Jitendra Mahato, a resident of Amlatand, who was returning after shopping from Kaliadungari, collided head-on with their bike. Both Ravindra and Jitendra were seriously injured in the accident, while Ravindra’s friend narrowly escaped. Local residents sent the injured youths to Seraikela Sadar Hospital with the help of a 108 ambulance. After receiving first aid, the doctors referred them to MGM Hospital. Ravindra suffered a deep injury to his right leg, while Jitendra suffered fractures in his arms and legs. The police are investigating the incident.
