Manoharpur: Two teenagers died in a road accident on the Purana Manoharpur-Manipur road on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as 14-year-old Watan Lohar, a resident of Purana Manoharpur Lohar Tola, and 18-year-old Om Sandil, a resident of Manipur Sandil Tila. Both were residents of Manoharpur.
The incident took place when the two teenagers were traveling on a scooter from Purana Manoharpur toward Manipur. Meanwhile, near the Culvert bridge, the rider lost control of the scooter, causing it to plunge underneath the culvert. The accident critically injured both individuals.
Upon receiving information about the incident, family members rushed to the spot and immediately took both victims to the Manoharpur Community Health Centre. There, after an examination, doctors declared them dead on arrival.
As news of their deaths reached the hospital, the grieving relatives wept uncontrollably. A wave of mourning has swept across the entire region following the incident. Meanwhile, upon receiving word, the Manoharpur police arrived to investigate the matter.
