Two PLFI Naxals arrested in Chaibasa, sent to jail

Chaibasa, Oct 29: Police raided the border forest areas of Chaibasa and Khunti districts and arrested two PLFI Naxalites on Friday and later sent them to jail. DSP Dilip Khalko addressing a press meet at Chakradharpur police station on Friday, said that SP Chaibasa got secret information that Roi Kadulna alias Sukhram Dasta, the area commander of banned PLFI Naxalite organization has been roaming in the forest of Chaibasa and the border area of ​​Khunti district.

A joint team of Chaibasa District Force, Khunti District Force and CRPF 94th Battalion was formed by the senior officer for verification of information and necessary action. During the raid, two persons were caught from the forest in the border area of ​​Chaibasa and Khunti districts.

Duo including 20-year-old Badiya Bhegra, resident of Khunti district Ronhe police station in Tapkara and 27-year-old Milu Kandulna, resident of Kendke village of Bandgaon police station area of ​​West Singhbhum district, introduced themselves as active members of the banned PLFI Naxalite organization. One country-made pistol, 11 live cartridges, six PLFI pamphlets, one PLFI donation receipt, one mobile phone and one Covid-19 vaccination leaflet have been seized from both the Naxalites.

Sub inspectors Avinash Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Amarjeet Kumar, Satish Kumar, Nirbhay Kumar, Nishat Kerketta, Ranjit Kishore, Assistant Inspector Dinesh Kumar Ram, besides CRPF 94th Battalion personnel, Armed Forces, Rania Police Station Armed forces were part of the police team which conducted raid.
