Role of police is important in safeguarding state’s internal security: Jharkhand CM

Passing out parade of DSPs, operators at JAP-2 ground 

Ranchi, October 29: Chief Minister Hemant Soren hailed the security forces while gracing the passing out parade at Jharkhand Armed Police -2 ground in Tatisilway in Ranchi on Friday. 

“The internal security of the state rests on the shoulders of our police forces. While discharging the responsibility, you have the responsibility of resolving both internal and external problems. During the training, all of you have been taught how to work with better coordination and understanding while solving problems. During the time of Covid infection the human face of Jharkhand Police has come to the fore amongst all of us. In the fight against the global epidemic, work has been done to save the lives of the common people by establishing better coordination and understanding with the people of every section of the state,”said Hemant Soren while addressing the passing out parade of trainee deputy superintendents of police and operators organized at Parade Ground of Jharkhand Armed Police-2, Tatisilway.
Earlier, Chief Minister paid floral tribute at the martyr memorial at JAP-2.

 Hemant Soren said that the role of the police force is important in solving the problems that exist in the interior of the state. 
“The forces will make good use of the things learned in this training. The intelligence and promptness will impress people around the area where you are employed. During the basic training, intensive training in various internal and external subjects, including various types of law, human rights, maintenance of law and order, cyber crime, disaster management, operation of state-of-the-art weapons and drill. etc. are important,” said Soren.
 The Chief Minister expressed confidence that all the trainees, Deputy Superintendents of Police and operators would make full use of the various subjects taught during the training successfully in their respective districts and units while performing their duties.

The Chief Minister said that with the changing times, the challenges for the police force have increased.
“In the course of work, many times the police force personnel face challenges. The jawans of Jharkhand Police Force have achieved many achievements by taking bold steps in many fields and they have chosen a challenging field. I hope you will keep the honor of your uniform intact,” said Soren. 

Hemant Soren said that 166 women are included in the trainee deputy superintendent of police and operators. 
“This figure of women shows the strength of women empowerment. I am sure that in the coming times, due to the tireless efforts of all of you, a new energy will be infused towards work in the Jharkhand Police Force.I wish all a bright future,’ said Soren. 

Senior police officials were present at the function.
