Jamshedpur, April 28: A two-member Central government team from New Delhi visited Sadar Hospital at Khasmahal, Parsudih, on Thursday to review preparedness of the government hospital to deal with the fourth wave of Covid.
The team members, Dr Veena and Dr Prem Kamal Agrawal, visited the various wards including the oxygen plant, labour room, OPD, paediatric ward, emergency, female ward, male ward and the canteen. They spoke to the hospital officials and discussed about the various facilities available to patients.
Civil Surgeon of East Singhbhum Dr Jujhar Manjhi, also present during the visit, said, “The team had come here to take stock of the healthcare facilities available at the Sadar Hospital. They inspected every unit of the hospital. The drawbacks in our hospital would be removed with the help of the Central and state governments. The team has expressed satisfaction with the arrangements at the hospital.”
