Jamshedpur, April 28: A woman, identified as Shahana Anjum, was allegedly beaten up by her husband Shoaib Kazi in Millatnagar under Kapali OP in Seraikela-Kharsawan on Thursday.
The victim alleged that her husband was a habitual thief and that she had requested him to mend his ways. Irked over her advice, her husband thrashed her, she told police.
Shahana was admitted to MGM Hospital for injuries sustained during domestic violence. Her father Picha Jameel reached her house and took her to the hospital.
