Jamshedpur, April 28: The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge (V) cum Special POCSO Court Sanjay Kumar Upadhyaya sentenced a man to 25 years of imprisonment for raping her six year old daughter. It also imposed a fine of Rs 55,000 on him. Out of the fine amount, Rs 50,000 would be given to the victim.
The case dates back to the year 2019 when the accused was booked for raping his daughter. The victim informed her mother about the incident. Her mother lodged a complaint against her husband with the Jugsalai police station.
