Seraikela, April 27: Two persons were seriously injured in a road accident in Kapali, Seraikela, on Wednesday, police said.
Sources said the incident occurred when a speeding 407 model truck knocked down one Jawaharlal Kumbhkar, a resident of Dobo, near the Seraikela Nagar Parishad office. Kumbhkar was on his bicycle. He sustained serious injuries in the incident. The truck driver was also injured in the incident. The two were taken to MGM Hospital.
Police officials said they were trying to find out whether rash driving by the truck driver caused the accident.
