Jamshedpur: Police arrested two persons for alleged robbing cash worth Rs 8500 from one Ashok Mahato, owner of a fertilizer and seed shop in Seraikela, here on Tuesday.
They also confiscated a double-barreled country-made gun along with four live cartridges of 0.315 mm calibre.
The SP of Seraikela-Kharsawan Rakesh Bansal said the accused persons, identified as Guru Prasad Mahato and Guruwa Mahato, both residents of Tiyunia village of Seraikela, had snatched cash from the victim at gun point.
The two had threatened the victim of dire consequences and snatched the cash from the latter�s till, he said.
