Jamshedpur: District police have tightened noose around the culprits involved in attack on police recently at Mango.
Warrants have been issued in the name of 22 leaders of Muslim Ekta Manch who allegedly provoked a mob gathered at Mango to protest lynching of Muslim youths in Rajnagar on 20th May last. The mob assaulted district administration and police authorities with stones after misbehaving with them.
Sources said the warrants have been issued against Firoz Khan, Tariq Khan, Nurul Haque Jhunna, Mohammad Amjad, Pilpil Pappu, Alamgirl Ansari, Aftab Alam Sonu, Shahadat Hussain, Zaki Azmal Sonu, Mohammad Sameer, Mohamamd Sufiyan, Tanna, Waseem Bachcha, Alauddin alias Babu and Firoz Alam.
Police sources said very soon advertisements would be published for the attachment of property belonging to the accused persons.
Azadnagar police is also in the process of applying for warrants in the name of the accused persons who prominently include Babar Khan and Aftab Ahmad Siddiqui.
