Saraikela, Feb 15: The Navyuvak Mahto Kalyan Samiti of Bandhdih, on the occasion of Saraswati Puja will organize a two day Tusu Mela on February 17 and 18 which will be highlighted by traditional Jhumar songs and dances. Popular Jhumar singer Pampa Mahto from Jhargram will perform on the occasion with the programmes commencing from 2 pm on both days.
The organizing committee chairman Vijay Mahto and other members released a press communiqué detailing the two day Tusu Mela beginning February 17. Samiti’s chief patron and legislator Dashrath Gagrai along with chief guest Ramgarh MLA Mamata Mahto, special guests Kurmi Sena central committee president Laltu Mahto and Bandhdih Mukhiya Parvati Mahto will be present.
