PSZMS Sakchi branch unanimously elects Mahavir Modi president, Suresh Kauntia made secretary

Jamshedpur, Feb 15: At a general body meeting of the Sakchi unit of Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan (PSZMS) Mahavir Prasad Modi was unanimously elected president while he named Suresh Kauntia as secretary.

The general body meeting was organized at Sakchi Agrasen Bhawan. Outgoing president Omprakash Ringasia, in his welcome address urged members to ensure coordination and unity among themselves while electing the president. He named Vijay Anand Moonka and Rajeev Agrawal as election officers.

Senior members present at the meeting including Zila Agrawal Sammelan president Santosh Agrawal along with Ram Krishna Chowdhary and Kamal Agrawal stressed on unanimous decision to elect the Sakchi unit president as they felt that members of the community needed to be united to ensure progress in every field. All present agreed and they unanimously decided on Mahavir Prasad Modi as president of the Sakchi unit of PSZMS. This unanimity set an example in the electoral process of any organization.

Election officer Vijay Anand Moonka announced Mahavir Prasad Modi as the new president of the Sakchi unit.

As per the Sammelan’s set electoral norms, election is held only for the post of president. The other office bearers are named by the elected p[resident. As such, newly elected president Mahavir Prasad Modi, in the course of the general body meeting named Suresh Kauntia as the unit secretary. The new president, office bearers and committee of executives will take charge of office on Friday, February 26.

Among those present at the general body meeting were Bajrang Lal Agrawal, Naresh Kauntia, Sanwarmal Agrawal, Umesh Kauntia, Ashok Chowdhary, Subhash Shah, Dinesh Agrawal Munna, Babulal Garg, Omprakash Sanghi, Abhishek Agrawal Goldie, Chhedilal Agrawal, Omprakash Jhajharia, Naresh Sanghi, Omprakash Moonka, Amit Agrawal, Sunny Sanghi, Bhola Chowdhary, Amit Modi, Sunil Debuka, Mahendra Kauntia, Murari Agrawal and others.
