Two-day Shyam Mahotsav from Feb 5 in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Feb 3: The 31st two-day Shri-Shri Shyam Mahotsav under the joint aegis of Shri-Shri Sakchi Shiv Mandir and Shri Shyam Pariwar will be organized at the Shiv Temple in Sakchi on Wednesday, February 5 and Thursday, February 6. Organizing committee members are giving final shape to this much looked forward to event.

Organizing committee president Bablu Agrawal and Umesh Sah along with members and executives addressed a press meeting organized today at the Sakchi Shiv Mandir premises. They informed that on Wednesday, February 5 a procession comprising 1,100 men and women devotees would be taken out from the Temple complex at 2 pm. Prior to the procession, the religious banners (Nishaan) would be worshipped at 11 am. The Lord�s throne and the Lord Himself would be decorated at 6 pm, offerings of 56 items of fruits and food for consecration will be offered at 6:30 pm and the Akhand Jyot would be worshipped at 8:30 pm. Devotional songs will be performed from 9 pm.

On Thursday, February 6, consecrated food will be distributed among more than 5,000 devotees from 12: 30 pm. Famous Bhajan singers Surabhi Chaturvedi from Jaipur, Kumar Dipak from Kolkata and Jamshedpur�s Krishna Murty will perform to add to the aura of devotion.

Among those present during the press meeting were Subhash Sah, Suresh Agrawal, Girdhari Lal Khemka, Kamlesh Chowdhary, Bajrang Lal Agrawal, Tushar Jindal, Mohit Sah, Pawan Khemka, Shyam Sunder Moonka, Naresh Agrawal, Monty Agrawal, Rishabh Moonka, Mahesh Agrawal, Asish Khanna, Amit Sah, Rahul Chowdhary, Aman Naredi, Manoj, Pappu Agrawal, Naresh Singhania, Aman Khemka, Manish Sharma, Vivek Agrawal, Shubham Debuka, Akshay Agrawal and Vikas Bhautika.
