Two-day employment fair at RVS College of Engineering Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Feb 22: The two-day employment fair (Rozgaar mela) organized by RVS College of Engineering and Technology concluded on Thursday. K Chandramouli, Assistant Director of the Board of Practical Training (BOPT), and Dr. Vikram Sharma, Chairman of Training and Placement at the college, expressed satisfaction with the collaborative effort that resulted in a fruitful event.

The fair, organized in association with BOPT, saw the participation of 33 companies on the first day, with the number increasing to 37 on the second day. A total of 587 participants registered for opportunities offered by various companies during the fair.

BOPT, an organization under the Ministry of Higher Education of the Government of India, initiates such employment fairs nationwide, aiming to facilitate skill development and employment for unemployed youth.

K Chandramouli praised the substantial turnout of participants, underscoring the event’s success. Shatrughan Singh, Treasurer of RVS Educational Trust, extended gratitude to Chandramouli for his support, highlighting the collaborative efforts that had led to the organization of such fairs on six occasions on the campus.

Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, the College Principal, extended good wishes to all participants, emphasizing the institution’s commitment in providing support in such endeavors.

The successful organization of the fair was credited to the efforts of Coordinator Dr. Shantimay Mandal, Prof. Abhishek Kumar, Prof. Abhilash Ghosh, Devjit Sadhu, Gurudev Gope, as well as BOPT representatives Mushtafizur Rahman, Md. Sikandar, Akash Ganguly, and Avinesh Mishra.
