Seraikela: SP Chandan Kumar Sinha suspended two cops, ASI Jitendra Kumar Rai and Biseshwar Yadav, for refusing to lodge the complaint of a minor rape victim. The victim and her mother had gone to Chandil PS and Kapali OP to lodge an FIR against the accused, Rajaram Manjhi, but were driven away. Manjhi alleged raped the minor on 1st April last in her village. Later, when the news was published in newspapers, the SP directed the police officials concerned to lodge FIR and arrest the accused.
