Jamshedpur, April 18: Vichaar Sadhana (contemplation) session 2023 on the topic ‘India’s Sublime Knowledge Tradition,’ was organized at Bistupur Tulsi Bhawan. The program was presided by Arun Kumar Tiwari and coordinated by Prasenjit Tiwari.
The chief guest and Sangh ideologue cum Rajya Sabha MP Prof Rakesh Sinha, speaking at the Vichaar Sadhana observed, “Unfortunately, India’s sublime history was deliberately put under wraps and what we got to learn about our country was a selective representation made during the Congress regime. One instance of our distorted or obliterated history is the glorification of the Mughal era that was crisscrossed with incidences of cruelty. But the tales of bravery and martyrdom, even of children who loved their motherland while they were emerging from their period of adolescence have been deleted. Bazi Rout and Tilashwaro Barua were martyred at the age of 12 when they opposed the marauders. The ‘authored’ history finds no mention of martyred Guru Teg Bahadur nor of the children of Guru Gobind Singh because of the Congress policy of appeasement. It is high time that we take a relook while meditating and contemplating on our rich history of sublime knowledge and tradition. The achievements during our ancient times have been left out from our glorious phases of history. We need to make changes and rewrite our history not as per whims of certain segments or political obsessions but as per those very records that have been deliberately hidden under the cobwebs of time.” Earlier, Dr Ragini Bhooshan presented Saraswati Vandana. Indradev Prasad welcomed the guests. Vidya Sagar Labh proposed the vote of thanks.
