Seraikela, Dec 8: A youth died after being run over by a truck near Sitarampur Dam under RIT police station area in Seraikela on Thursday. He was identified as Sarvesh Mishra, resident of Burmamines.
Sources said the deceased, a transporter, was riding a bike when the truck carrying goods knocked him down. Sarvesh sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. The truck driver fled the scene. Police said they were conducting a probe into the incident.
