Tribal woman murdered in Jamshedpur, relatives suspect love affair

Jamshedpur, June 18: A 32-year-old  woman Nagi Lakra, a resident of Kendukocha, Shankosai Road number 1 under Ulidih police station, was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon.

Nagi’s body was found in the fields behind the house. Nagi was stabbed in the neck and stomach. Nagi’s sister-in-law Supriya Lakra told that it has been more than 10 years since Nagi got married. She was living separately from her husband since marriage. She was living in her maternal home, Kendukocha and used to wash dishes in a hotel near the Dimna dam. She used to talk to someone on her phone.

The relatives have expressed apprehension that Nagi was murdered in a love affair.

The police could not find Nagi’s mobile. On the basis of call details of Nagi, the police is trying to find out who she used to talk to. During enquiry, the police have come to know that she used to talk to a young man from the locality itself. Police is investigating on the point of murder in love affair.
