Tribal litterateur Jawaharlal Bankira to attend Bhopal international Lit Fest

Chaibasa, August 2: popular tribal and folk litterateur Jawaharlal Bankira of Chaibasa has been invited to participate in the Unmesh International Literature Festival in Bhopal. The festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, will feature 70 authors, poets, and intellectuals from 38 countries. Among them, Bankira will represent Jharkhand’s prominent literary figures and will present his writings and poems reflecting the emotions and sentiments of the indigenous people.

Bankira’s literary creation including ‘Deshauli’ and ‘Imli ka Ped’ convey a strong message of promoting culture and social awareness. His previous participation in various national literary conferences has earned him recognition as a writer dedicated to educational and social uplift. The invitation extended to Jawaharlal Bankira for the International Literary Festival has been greeted with felicitations from local authors, poets, and educators. Eminent persons of letters including Professor Damyanti Sinha, Secretary of the Writers’ Association, Krishna Devgam, Professor Dildar Purty, Dumbi Diggi, Randho Devgam, Ramsingh Chatar, Sikandar Biruli, Tilak Bari, Vimal Kishore Boipai, Veer Singh Biruli, Ganesh Bari, and Jagannath Hessa congratulated Jawaharlal Bankira for being invited to participate in the prestigious International Literary Meet, Unmesh, at Bhopal.
