TRF Jamshedpur blood donation drive collects 234 units

Jamshedpur, March 17: Volunteerism by employees of TRF and it associates witnessed a surge with the successful organization of the second edition of the biannual blood donation camp, ‘Navjeevan’ by the TRF Ladies Association, in association with Voluntary Blood Donors’ Association (VBDA) on March 15, 2024 in the company premises. In this camp, record 234 units of Blood were collected, which is of immense value to them as the requirement for blood during the summer season increases.

Donors from the employees of the company, distinguished office bearers and members of Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union, the members of the TRF Ladies Association (TRFLA) and stakeholders collaborated and contributed to make the camp a grand successful.

The ‘Navjeevan’ camp was formally inaugurated by Umesh Kumar Singh, Managing Director, Abhijeet Singh, CHRO, V K Singh, GM- Manufacturing and Projects, of TRF management and Rakeshwar Pandey, President and M H Hiramaneek, General Secretary of Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union and Sweta Gupta of TRFLA. Inaugural function was attended by senior executives of the Company, members of the TRFLA and committee members of the TRF Labour Union. During the inauguration, Sweta Gupta Member, TRFLA in her address welcomed the guests and encouraged all stakeholders to donate blood and contribute for this noble cause.
