Jamshedpur, May 27: Strong thunderstorms in Jamshedpur and its adjoining areas brought life to a halt for all. The wind speed and rain were so strong that the entire Jamshedpur came to a standstill.
Several trees were uprooted in Bistupur, near Beldih Church School, Sakchi, Kadma and Sonari. People faced a lot of trouble commuting.
In the Sonari-Kadma area, the branches of the tree were broken. At the same time, tree branches were seen lying on the roads in Adityapur and Gamharia areas.
Along with this, water has accumulated in many places.
However, an alert was issued by the Indian Meteorological Department regarding rain and thunderstorms.
Along with this, it was advised to take shelter in safe places and not to go under the tree. It is being said that the wind speed was 60 kmph.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the city for the next three days i.e. till May 30.
During this time the temperature will also drop.
On Friday, the maximum temperature of the city was recorded 38.4 and the minimum temperature was 25 degree Celsius.
At the same time, on Saturday the maximum temperature of the city is expected to be 38 degrees and the minimum at 26 degrees.
