Jamshedpur, April 3: Pravesh Utsav was oragnsied at primary School Tiring under the ‘Praveshotsava 2017’ campaign, launched by the East Singhbhum district administration for the admission of children in government and government-aided schools.
New admitted children to the school in the new session and their parents were welcomed while on the other hand trees were planted in the school premises in the name of meritorious girl students of the previous session.
The programme organised on the initiative of deputy collector of Chief Minister�s Camp Office Sanjay Kumar, saw presence of Kalyani Sharan, chairperson of Jharkhand Women�s Commission as the chief guest. In her speech Kalyani Sharan appealed the villagers to see that no child who is Permeable is not deprived. She appreciated the ‘Praveshotsava 2017’ campaign launched by Sanjay Kumar.
Trees were planted in the school premises in the name of topper girl students of the previous session including Deepali Sardar, Puja Sardar, Seema Sardar, Shobha Sardar, Karni Sardar, Ushamani Sardar, Kalpana Sardar etc by Kalyani Sharan, Sanjay Kumar, Urmila Samad along with the parents of the concerned girl students.
A deaf-mute girl Nidhi Kumari was felicitated by Kalyani Sharan and Sanjat Kumar for winning gold medal in the national level of Hapkido martial arts. At the conclusion of the programme, class five pass out students were given farewell and the guests wished them luck for the future.
Present on the occasion were block president of 20 Point Programme Committee Manoj Kumar, School Principal Beyar Singh Sardar, para teacher Krishna Kumar, social worker Sanjay Sardar, Birendra Kumar Singh, Vinod Pandey, Shailendra Singh and others.
It may be noted that ‘Praveshotsava 2017’ campaign would continue for a month during which children would be admitted to different schools across the district. This was informed on Saturday by the deputy collector of Chief Minister�s Camp Office Sanjay Kumar.
