Jamshedpur, June 6: PS Reddy, managing director, TRF Limited and Rakeshwar Pandey, President, Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union jointly planted the first sapling on the occasion of the World Environment Day- 2016, at TRF Works.
Senior executives of the Company along with office bearers of the Labour Union also planted saplings along the rain water harvesting facility in the Works.
The Company plans to plant many more trees this year in its works and residential colony.
During the month long campaign several awareness activities related to environment will be conducted in the Company, such as environment quiz and skit competition and drawing and painting competition for children.
