Training for PM SVANidhi beneficiaries at Mango

Jamshedpur, Jan 6: Mango Municipal Corporation will be undertaking digital transaction training for beneficiary street vendors of PM SVANidhi scheme between January 7 and 21.

Significantly, PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) is aimed at empowering street vendors  by not only extending loans to them, but also for their holistic development and economic upliftment. The scheme intends to facilitate collateral free working capital loans of up to Rs 10,00 of one-year tenure, to help resume their businesses in the urban areas, including surrounding peri-urban/rural areas.

Executive officer of Mango Municipal Corporation, Deepak Sahay said that they have done all preparation for the digital transaction training of the beneficiaries. During the training conducted by bankers the vendors would also be trained on digital transaction using QR code. If the vendors do digital transactions they can avail benefits of cashback offers.
