Train runs over cattle in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 8: A tragic incident occurred near Sundernagar railway gate, Jamshedpur on Wednesday morning when a passenger train ran over a group of cattle. A calf died on the spot, while two other animals sustained injuries.
According to eyewitnesses, the cattle were crossing the railway track for grazing when they were suddenly struck by the oncoming train. Following the incident, the train remained halted for nearly half an hour, causing inconvenience to passengers.
Soon after the mishap, a large number of local residents gathered at the site. Expressing concern over frequent such incidents, they demanded the construction of proper safety measures such as boundary walls or fencing along both sides of the railway track to prevent recurrence.
