Train Rape: Accused arrested after locking himself in toilet

Katni: A case of rape on a moving train has surfaced in Katni district, Madhya Pradesh.

The victim, who boarded the Jabalpur-Rewa MEMU train, reported the incident to the police, leading to the arrest of the accused, Pankaj Kushwaha, a resident of Banda in Katni.

The victim alleged that Kushwaha assaulted her and forcibly took her into the train’s toilet, where the assault occurred. Following the incident, the accused locked himself in the toilet, eventually breaking the lock before being arrested when the train reached Rewa. The case is now under investigation by the Railway Police.
