Jamshedpur: Toy Bank today distributed happiness among children during a function organized at CP Club, Sonari in connection with the fortnight long celebrations of Children�s Day.
Chief guest and ace mountaineer Premlata Agarwal and guests-of-honor Suresh Sonthalia the former president of SCCI and state vice president of Marwadi Sammelan and social worker Ekta Agarwal were highly impressed with the Toy Bank�s initiative and assured the social organization of their continued support.
Toy Bank�s chief, Kusum Agarwal while conducting the event stated that objective of the organization was to promote mental and physical development of children. She stated that the resolve, determination and self confidence received the impetus through such programs.
The function was held today between 11 am and 1 pm. The students numbering 360 from five schools were presented toys by the guests and members of Toy Bank. The five schools included Odia Vidyalay Adityapur, Sidhu-Kanhu Utkramit Vidyalay Adarsh Nagar, New Kapali Circuit House, Nagrik Sangh Sonari and Beldih Gram Circuit House.
A special cultural program was organized in which the children presented songs and dances which were lapped up by all present. The event included teachers from the participating schools.
Toy Bank members who organized this successful event were, besides Kusum Agarwal, Prema Agarwal, Sushila Khirwal, Asha Agarwal, Shalini Gupta, Archana Gupta, Savita Kabra, Gita Murarka, Manju Kauntia, Santosh Garg, Sailesh, Seema, Rita, Saraswati, school teachers Nita Hessa, Lakshmi and others.
The Toy Bank, launched two years ago, has been working dedicatedly among needy children to develop their mental and physical capabilities. The thirty members of this organization are working with the intent of developing the mental and physical status among needy children. An official of Toy Bank invited people with social intents to join the organization.
