Jamshedpur, August 4: D.B.M.S. Kadma High School buzzed with excitement during its Maths Fest held at the Kalakriti Auditorium, where students from Std 3 to 10 participated in a lively and challenging Inter-House Maths Quiz. The event emphasized that mathematics is not just about numbers and equations but about developing understanding and problem-solving skills.

The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation across all classes, with intense competition among the school’s houses. Students displayed sharp thinking and teamwork as they tackled various rounds designed to test their mathematical aptitude.
The winners of the quiz were Rupanjana Ghosh and Dev Pramanik from Ruby House (Std 3–4), Ronit Kundu and Md. Farhan Warsi from Emerald House (Std 5–6), Abidit Majumdar and Chirag Kumar from Topaz House (Std 7–8), and Arnav Mahato and Mayank Tripathi from Topaz House (Std 9–10).
Topaz House emerged as the overall champion of the quiz.
The event was conducted under the guidance of S.N. Singh, Head of the Mathematics Department, along with the dedicated Maths faculty. The fest successfully ignited a love for mathematics among students, making every participant a winner in learning.
