Jamshedpur administration pays tribute to Guruji Shibu Soren

 

Jamshedpur: The city was left mourning after the sudden demise of former CM and veteran leader of the State Shibu Soren. A solemn condolence meeting was organised in the Collectorate auditorium on the demise of former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and Rajya Sabha MP, Dishom Guru Shibu Soren. Officials and employees across the district gathered to pay their respects to the departed leader, whose contribution to the Jharkhand movement and state development remains unparalleled.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner, Karn Satyarthi, senior officials of various departments, and staff from across the district administration. Floral tributes were offered to the portrait of the late leader, followed by the observance of two minutes of silence, praying for the eternal peace of his soul.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner expressed deep sorrow over the loss, stating, “The news of the demise of respected Dishom Guru Shri Shibu Soren ji is very sad. His contribution to the cause of Jharkhand and its people will always be unforgettable. We pray to God to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to his family and followers in this moment of grief.”

Similar condolence meetings were also organised in all block offices of the district, where officers and employees paid floral tribute and observed silence in remembrance. The gatherings reflected the deep respect and admiration held for Shibu Soren across administrative ranks and among the people.

Known as the torchbearer of the Jharkhand separate state movement, Shibu Soren’s life and work have left a lasting impact on the social and political landscape of the state. His demise has been mourned widely, with tributes pouring in from across political, social, and administrative circles.
