Jamshedpur, June 1: In a strategic move aimed at enhancing medical services, Tata Steel has appointed Dr. Vinita Singh as the General Manager of Medical Services. Dr. Singh, currently serving as the Chief of Medical Indoor Services and an IL-2 grade officer at Tata Steel, will assume her new role effective June 1st. This decision comes as part of a circular issued by Tata Steel CEO and Managing Director TV Narendran.
The circular, issued on Thursday, outlines Dr. Vinita Singh’s nomination for the prestigious position. She will succeed the current General Manager, Dr. Sudhir Rai, whose contract concludes on December 1st. Dr. Singh will be based in Jamshedpur and will directly report to the Vice President of Corporate Services.
