Jamshedpur, August 30: Kerala Public School (KPS), Kadma organized an event on ‘Pick an object and speak’ for the Pre-primary segment of the school on Tuesday.
The toddlers were tested on their speaking abilities and their analytical ability to link it with their daily life through a brainstorming session.
The semi final round entails picking, identifying and connecting to objects related to health and hygiene. The judges of the events were Alamelu Ravi Shankar, the coordinator of the primary school and Ruchi Dubey, a senior faculty of English department of K.P.S, Kadma.
The event created awareness among the students related to different fruits and vegetables and their nutritional contents.
The winners of the event were the students of U.K.G A- Adarsh Pandey and Roshan Kumar, U.K.G B- Swastika and Christopher, U.K.G C- Ashank Jyoti and Debosmita, U.K.G D- Ishika Jha and Anwesha Roy, U.K.G E- Ananya Jha and Siddhi Agarwal.
It was a delightful programme enjoyed both by the participants and audience. The vice principal of the school Harmeet Pal appreciated the effort of the teachers and students.
The event was attended by the Principal of the school Sharmila Mukherjee, who addressed the students and motivated them.
Also present at the event was Vice principal Harmeet Pal, Primary co-ordinator- Alamelu and Shalini Sethi.
